Recycled Resin for Eco-friendly Digital G-SHOCK G5600BG-1 

The digital 5600 series is an evolution of the original G-SHOCK DW5000C in 1983, and we’ve been busy over the last 40 years. The eco-friendly G5600BG-1 proudly carries that tradition and reflects Casio’s continuing commitment to our environment. With differing colors reclaimed from recycled resin, each individual G5600BG-1 is unique. 

The bezel and band make the most of resin scraps left over from the manufacture of other bands and bezels. Waste resin in classic G-SHOCK red and yellow is reconstituted through a process that powders and kneads the resin in a matte black base to create a unique, subtly colorful pattern. The G5600BG-1 creates a fashion sense suited both for everyday adventure to nights on the town. 

Innovative reuse-and-recycle tech is only the start. The G-SHOCK G5600BG-1 is shock resistant and 200m water resistant (wr 20 bar). With Tough Solar charging, the watch battery can stay charged to ensure long-term use, and the Casio Super Illuminator LED backlight makes this eco-minded watch usable at any time of day.
